STM's Pics from E-Town (3-11-12) Evo vs Subaru!

I’m a little late on the photos here, as the pics and videos of the RS are already quite viral! But here’s what we have to share from the weekend.

Since STM just finished up the RS, we decided the best place to “test” it out would be in front of hundreds of people, customers and race fans alike. We had a rough “start” to the day pulling the RS off the trailer, and the starter was shot! Figures. After a failed attempt at the local Pep Boys, we had a great friend save the day and we borrowed his starter. Thanks again, Jack!

First pass down the track was a roll-in, 1-2-and part of 3. I believe the track time was 11.9 @ 91 LOL. Next pass, 1-2-3, roasting the tires and coasting the rest of the way. 10.0 @ 118. Finally, third run, staged against a Subaru, the crowd wanted it and Emery let them have it! 9.36 @ 152.24. The RS is still on the stock transmission, so Emery is running out of room in the RPM’s in 4th gear, so he hit the rev limiter toward the end of the 1/4 and had to let out and coast a bit…

It was an awesome day. Got to meet a ton of great people and to those great people: Thank you for the kind words and support! Not to mention awesome pictures and videos! Thanks Jonathan and Jalal!

Good times the night before meeting up with some local NYC Evo guys and cruising through downtown and Times Square in the Dodge dually. Thank you Jesse, Tom and Jack, for making the first STM trip of the year a great one!

Thanks! There were a couple nice BMW’s but all my pictures of them kinda failed. Real nice sounding turbo M3 and a 135i running mid 12’s. The GTR’s are always a pleasure to see as well :slight_smile:
