I will say 9C1ny that after that happened to you. It has entered my mind (more than once) how fucked i am if i were to tag a wall/get hit/etc…at the track and have no insurance coverage. Hagerty is tough over this i hear.

I got a ride in Tims Camaro SS on 6-16-09.
The car was sweet as fuck,the handeling was crisp and solid,the interior was roomy and comphy,the seats really hold you in place.This was at normal driving and ‘brisk’ driving speeds.
The radio sounded real nice,it had a nice suround sound to it,nice rich tone with a quality sound.I was really feeling that 
The acceleration was strong and pulled hard.The motor sounded like heaven,even stock… This car would pass many vehicals like they were standing still…
My only gripe…,the transmission seemed to shift to smooth,seemed to ‘glide’ into the gears.I would have liked to felt more firmness,much more firmness… Just seemed to “Lincoln like”.
It is IMHO that the cars PCM really hold the cars true potential back.Im not shocked by this.GM don’t want new Camaro drivers F-ing up their drivetrains and then GM having to fix it under warranty.This could cost GM big bux.So instead they give the cars PCM major restrictions…
All and all the new Camaro SS is everything i expected it to be.A modern day muscle car with a few perks and pleasant surprises.

stock z06shouldgo 7.9 eighth mile… i’m not real familer with thenew camaro but if i really had to guess i’d say 8.8… 8.0 is12. convrted to quarter… camaro is about 75 hp less…correct? 100 hp is a second in a quarter mile andall sorts of things have to be considered in between the 8th and the 1/4… anyways… what u tinkdatcarwill run?

i honestly had higher hopes for the camaro. im not saying i was disappointed but slightly let down.
Lancasters prep was terrible again tonight… i launched like shit and spun a good amount
lz… i actually have a long drag racing background…30 years or so. whats so flawed in what i wrote? let us know what that car runs and if for any reason i wrote something that offended you it was not intentional. for a showroom stock car that weighs in the 4000 lb range 8.8 660’ times are quite respectable.
