I finally put stock calipers with new pads and rotors on my car. This came off a B5 A4 quattro, not sure if it will fit a B6 but I’m pretty sure they have the same calipers/brackets.Aside from needing new pads, the calipers on this kit could use some work. They had started to develop a creaking sound which was the calipers hanging up a bit. The car would pull to the left under hard braking because the right side was worse. It would also cause the ABS to sometimes kick on when it wasn’t necessary and for the light to come on because one side was doing more work than the other. Since the inner pad on the passenger side wasn’t making full contact, a small part of the rotor became rusted from not touching the pad under braking. The rotors should be turned because of this. Finally, since I had to use a little heat on the brakes lines, the rubber peice at the end melted a little. None of the clear rubber that covers the Stainless Steel line itself melted and this will in no way affect the kit other than cosmetically.
This kit goes for $2200 on ebay. It has black ST-40 calipers and slotted rotors, they are not drilled however. Comes with SS lines too. The rotors are about 13", a 17" wheel will clear, you may need spacers though.
The brackets are still on the calipers and I will include 4 extra bracket bolts. The kit simply re-uses the stock ones but I have 4 extra for anyone just in case.
The calipers need some work, it needs new pads, and the rotors need to be turned so I am asking $700/BO. Feel free to call or text, Jeremy @ 716-380-5426.
