Street Bike Trials Vid

This got me so pumped last night when I watched it that I brought my mountain bike into work after about 8 years so I could clean it up tonight. Tomorrow I’m buying a 9 speed cassette tool and a chain so I can finish putting it back together and I’m taking it out for a rip after work.

Cliffs notes…The guy rides up a tree and does a backflip off it, a 360 down a double flight of stairs, a 180 UP (YES UP) like 8 steps, and other badass tricks. Enjoy.

that is amazing

that is absolutly rediculous, mad credit goes to that guy

I did a search for trials and didn’t find it so I posted. BMX != Trials. Oh well…

thats cool its deff worth watching 2x

Just watched this before and was gonna post it…I love the flair off the tree…that was ridiculous

INB4LOCK

yeah bmx is better

technically it is a bmx…It’s a hybrid BMX/Mountain bike.

Danny Mac is amazing, I just watched most of the trial dvd’s my roomate has. Fucking AWESOME!

I wasn’t kidding. This really made me put my bike back together. I just got some parts I needed from S101 at Berts and did it. Then I tried to ride. Wow I’m out of shape…

Terrible picture, but there’s my MTB.

what kinda wheels are those? aluminum?

The wheels are carbon fiber with aluminum brake surfaces.

It’s not state of the art any more, but bicycles have used exotic materials for a long time, and in all sorts of places. For example, the rails on the seat are titanium.

I’ll be riding this weekend if you would like to come along…

I did an endo the other day.

That guy is unreal.

Gus had Mag wheels like that on a BMX before…they were cracked within a week.

Exotic materials never really worked out for bmx, they always ended up being too expensive and too weak with the only advantage being weight savings. No way I am paying 2x more for something to save 2-3 ounces. All the good companies decided not to go the ti/composites route and instead focused on using better grades of steel/aluminum along with better designs to produce better products.

wow, thats old school. I think we need an nyspeed mountain bike meet.
