This Saturday, (August 16) brings forth a motor sport triple threat!

Downsview Park will be transformed into a mega motor sports entertainment event hosting the Street Concept’s “Battle of the Car Clubs” powered by Grand Prix Kartways and the Castrol Driftmania Canadian Championships.

Come out to see the hottest cars and car clubs in Canada battle it out in competition on the First Image Show & Shine field and on the Go-Kart track courtesy of Grand Prix Kartways. This one day show format let’s competitors compete not only on the show field, but on the karting track to earn points towards themselves and their car clubs/teams. There will also be team tug of wars and rim tosses. We want each team and their members to decide who will come out on top this year through participation!

Come watch Canada’s first and only professional drifting championship series and North America’s fastest growing Motor sport event is in Toronto. Driftmania is the home to Canada’s top professional drifters each battling to be champion producing a level of competition and excitement like no other!

At the end of the night we will be celebrating with the IKON Drift Life Party hosted by Grand Prix Kartways. This party will the cap the day off with invitations to all the DM Drivers, Show & Shine competitors, and general public that wishes to celebrate a wonderful day of competition.

General Admission is $20, free for kids 6 and under. ($3.00 off with DMCC Flyer)

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

DRIFTING
It’s the Ultimate Battle with the Castrol DMCC Round 4. Bare witness to head to head battle with these professional drifters.

SHOW N’ SHINE:
Extensive Classes and Categories. Plus earn 100 Competition Series BONUS POINTS for participating. This event has a K-FACTOR of 3.5

KARTING:
Battle of the Car Clubs Karting Challenge allows Show & Shine Competitors to be more active for the duration of the event. Points will be allocated to the individual competitor along with the car club/team they represent based on their results in various karting categories.

BATTLEFIELD:
Car Clubs will go head to head to earn points based on their performance on the Battlefield with challenges like TUG OF WAR and the RIM TOSS.

EXOTIC ALLEY
Battle of the Car Clubs is proud to present the Exotic Alley that will consist of exotic cars and the various Exotic Car Clubs that represent them.

KIDS ZONE
Battle of the Car Clubs will have a “Kid’s Zone” available at the event. This feature will compliment our marketing strategy to appeal to the general public as a destination event for the whole family.

DRIFT LIFE After Party at Grand Prix Kartways
Saturday, August 16th 11pm - 2am
FREE Admission to DRIFT LIFE After Party for all competitors with Battle of the Car Clubs wristband and to spectators with their Battle of the Car Clubs tickets. $5 Admissions for those without.
