Let me know your budget and what look you’re going for, there’s a lot of options.
I slapped a digital gauge on mine (but still can’t get the tach to work, whatever) and a standard round 7" headlight and it looks alright.

well i dont want to spend too much…this is just my beginner learner bike… i plan on buying a nicer bike next summer…i just want to make the thing legal and BA:lol I’m thinking digital gauge and prolly side by side headlights…what kind of gauge did u get?

I have the one from trailtech, can be had for a bout 150 with the idiot lights kit.

As far as headlights you can try any of these here http://www.flyncycle.com/Fairing_Headlights_s/1457.htm
or a something off ebay from another bike. Problem is, as far as I know 500 uses the same headlight as my bike, a single socket h4. So you can’t fit anything other than a single h4 light without cutting up and splicing the electrical.

thanks!

good information to know about the lights…i might have to go with the standard light but i’m feeling ambitious so i might see what i can do for the wiring

as far the gauge…im thinking about this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Acewell-2702AB-Series-Motorcycle-Digital-Speedometer_W0QQitemZ280368918848QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotorcycles_Parts_Accessories?hash=item41474a3140&_trksid=p4506.m20.l1116#ht_3612wt_1613

have you heard of it…ive read on other forums of people having some problems getting everything to work:ohnoes

No problem.
I haven’t heard about hose gauges, but a quick search yielded this;

Maybe it’ll help.

cool thanks again

Chris let me know if you need a hand wiring anything, it should be very easy.

thanks steve…i’ll prolly def take you up on that…im just waiting for the claims adjuster to come look at my bike then I will be ready to start the mods…i already ordered the structural things that i need…should be in the barn in two weeks :excited
