^ why is the shifter on the rightside?

2 theories:

1.) it’s europe.

b.) Orlando is gay.

lol Orlando Bloom could make anything gay.

and lol at the top speed arguments. Who gives a fuck? If you’re doing 150+ on a bike on the street you’re a moron dancing with death regardless of how high you get the speedo.

Where fairing are priceless is fighting fatigue when you’ve been playing main-sail for a couple of hours.

That being said I’d still give my left nut for a Moto Guzzi Centauro. No they didn’t do anything particularly well, but they’re just so hot with their goofy half sport bike half muscle bike look and staccato longitudinal V twin.

Nobody’s posted a pic of a Monster yet?

I’m so surprised that so many of you guys drop so much change on motorcycles yet not one of you has the good sense to get an Italian bike. :zong: :stuck_out_tongue:

I am that moron and I will freely admit it, I dont care.

I have never once felt fatigued from riding a naked bike. Ever. I put 6000 miles on in 3 months. That is alot of long riding everyday.

Italian bikes while nice to look at are expensive to buy, expensive to own, and difficult to get repair parts when one is in need. Not to mention this is NYspeed.

I heart S2r’s and S4r’s i didnt even think to post one…

don, i find that hard to believe, i road a harley from rochester to buffalo and back, before i even made it to medina my neck was very sore, maybe the seating position was whack, maybe i was out of shape, maybe it was the begining of the season, BUT my neck was def sore and tired…

When riding a cruiser or a standard the riding position is much different obviously. Instead of your helmet piercing the air like a bullet, it more or less flops like a cannon ball. 3 days of riding like that and those muscles are built up and it no longer phases you.

6000 miles on the bandit and 1100 on the Harley V rod. I got off the bike more enegized than before I got on. I rode the Harley to pittsburgh, average cruising speed of 85, and I was falling asleep…

These are my experiences, I have no reasons to lie. :gotme:

no.

i only like the streetfighter look on stunt bikes.

Fair enough. To each his own. I guess what I should say is that if I were going to drop $5-10k on a bike it’d be on something Italian. But who knows, if it were to come time to put my money where my mouth is parts and reliability might become a lot more important. The only bikes I’ve ever owned have been Hondas afterall…

 Besides, my opinion doesn’t count! The only time I lean over when I’m riding something anymore is to reach for my beer. :uhh:

meh. yes theyre hott, but convenience and reliability play a huge role. The nearest ducati dealership when i was shopping around was that chainsaw place on rt16 and theyre a bunch of weirdos. And also maybe because i didn’t want a monster and that was really the only duc in my range.

Plus i like jumping on mine whenever/wherever and not having to worry about stupid shit breaking. Thats the last fucking thing i want to do is work/tinker with my bike when its 80+ degrees out and everyone is getting ready. And dealerships are 15 minutes away.

Not worth the extra 4-5k to me. If i had money to wipe my ass with that would be a different story…

i like how monsters look… but overall have to disagree

:wstupid:

I rode my friends ducati 999 superbike and while I was impressed with the torque, it just felt so danm weird.

And the fucking dry clutch is hard to get used to, and it sucked my pant leg into it, that was scary as fuck

edit: i was referring to shrives post

I agree. I rode an 06 ducati 999S and don’t get me wrong, i loved it, but i felt more comfortable on my 636 and to be honest, i will NEVER hit the limits with what i have nor do i desire to, and to me i have the perfect bike for what i want. Its really all on the individual i guess… The 999S was amazing to look at, OK to ride, and so-so on the comfort level. It’s nothing I needed to simply put it

edit: and im still sour about not purchasing a 675 daytona. It’s the only thing i regret, but again at the time I BELIEVE the closest dealer was in pittsburg…

oh, and it sounded like a damn harley on steroids. which sounded fucking mean as hell.
It did have a Termignoni exhaust on it though, too, which is like a 3 grand system!

they do sound like sex, ill give you that. LOL was the one you rode happen to be black and the kid from outside of silvercreek? If so, its my buddies brother. He has a dualsport too…

yeah, lucas, his older brother bought my black jetta. which he totaled.

haha no shit. yea im good friends with leo…
