SUNDAY 10/07 NYIRP

Then you would have to launch your car

I kid

lol i hate u all :shoot:

Hey do you have the dimensions and joint type you need cause you can get a driveshaft made for like $300 that will take a beating. I got a moly one made that is rated to 1200hp for $500. If you want the shops number pm me and ill get it for you. Im not sure on the axles though sorry.

thats was fun, stry killed his clutch (stock) and I stayed ahead:P I htink he went 106 1st pass? we had a few cars 100-110s tuned my mike.

I cant wait to see the other pics and vids.

The vette went 7.812 @ 104.29 mph, lets just say I had no chance, lol

That was fun, I learned just how BAD my GTO wheel hops. I should have asked the guy with the blue 04 GTO for some launching tips. It was really odd, I left and the only area that was dark and dreary was directly over the track, 1 mile away it was beautiful and sunny.

Moser makes custom axles if you have dimensions and spline counts. Figure $400 for a good set, and a MMC Aluminum driveshaft is around $500 and are good to 2500 hp, cheaper T6061 Aluminum shafts are around $350 and good to 1200 hp

Get a airbag. we have been using them sense we got the shop 04 when it 1st came out. They work mint, no wheelhop on our 600whp cars. Now they sold as ā€œdrag bagsā€ more known for alot more.

ANYWAYā€¦ i see that emery was there, what was he running?

i think he was just tuning for the most part

Iā€™ll look into that, thanks for the info:tup:

im gunna have to get back to you guys on that. Im starting to get excited that theres more options out there then following the rest of the bmw sheep and handing over my wallet.

also since im switching from a 2 pc to a 1pc driveshaft, will i need measurements for a carrier bearing? or is that eliminated.

I have pics from this as well http://nystreetscene.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=526

That car is auto and has very sticky tires.

nice

I have a measurement sheet. You just measure from the tailshaft of the transmission to the center line of the rearend yoke. Very simple with a vehicle on a 4 post lift because the suspension must be fully loaded to get the correct measurement

Thats why I wasnā€™t too broken up about not asking him for some launch tips. Launching an auto and an M6 is just a touch bit different.

Yeah we were just tuning and went almost 100 in the 1/8. Its coming along. Didnt get alot done, as there were only 3 passes and one of them we fouled plugs. It was the first time the bosst went over 25 psi on the new set up. I think we may be able to see 105 mph in the 1/8th or so.

All and all good day! Got to see alot of people and hang out all day.
