I am very sorry to hear about this.
I do believe that the NYSpeed community should have a fundraiser, BBQ event, Paypal account, etc. Seriously, I am willing to assist in anyway. Being a person who had a benefit for himself knows how these events help with getting over life events financially.

“Swiderski Motorcar Waste oil pre - heater and I was using peanut oil. If I hadn’t run out of waste motor oil this never would have happened. It’s just been so cold this year the heater has been running way more than usual and used more oil than it ever has. The pre - heater ignited the peanut oil, and 5 gallons of flaming peanut oil went across the shop. It went from a small fire that looked contain able to out of control and flames billowing out of everywhere in under 5min.”

All his personal cars that where in there. NO. if a customer car had insurance then it would be covered by there insurance. (if the cars where still financed say threw afc or dfc, then they would but i know they had been payed off.) Im up for some kind of fun raiser. I had one of his cars at my house im going to try and finish it up so he has something to sell asap.
I will help in anyway with a fundraiser. If you want to do a cruise / bbq or something like that I will donate the food as I have in the past. It may be a bit cold for that currently and the sooner that he can have support the better.
^ That site works really well and I’ve used it for theChive donations before. Unlike a paypal account people donating actually see the progress and the donation totals rise. They only take 5% which I think works out better than a paypal donation account since this wouldn’t quality for 501c3. If we want to go this route I’d suggest either an admin like Josh or Mike do it or someone who’s close friends with Justin.

@LZ1 Usually auto dealers/repair shops carry “Garagekeepers” insurance. This covers the dealer for any damage incurred to customers vehicles while in custody of the dealer.
Man that sucks hard, sorry to hear. If you guys organize a fundraiser BBQ maybe some of us from Rochester will make the drive.
I had to run to NT yesterday so I cruised past. It’s really a shame. I had some good times at that building when Jeff ran Elite Automotive out of it.

It’s a good opportunity to act as a “car” community once again.
If someone sets up a donation page like a ‘fundme’ or whatever, I will donate and spread the word. This breaks my heart knowing he has a family and kids and could lose everything.
I’ve reached out to @Justin and I’ll let you guys know what we come up with.
