The Marlboro one is Mars has less than 1000 miles on it, the guy also has a 89 TTA with under 1000 miles on it, he takes both out to the wexford show. Some high dollar american muscle. The Marlboro with that low mileage is above $100k, and the TTA is probably around $60k

Awesome find. Haven’t seen one of those in a few years.
Just got the low down from a Syclone race builder. He said that the crate vortec in it wont handle more than 5 pounds of boost, and that i’d need to replace the pistons, rods, and main caps to be able to run at optimum level.

that truck is badass, dude. i’m glad u got one. i’d have alittle bit of a hard time getin rid of the ws6 for it, but to each his own. thats definatley something you dont see everyday (the truck)

its not the stock 4.3, the compression ratio on a vortec is like 9.4, the ratio on the stock SyTy 4.3 is like 8.3

as the drama unfolds, i am trying to fly back out to minnesota this friday and drive it back. I was able to track down the 2nd owner, (previous to current), whom is the one who built the motor, i am getting a name and number, so that i can verify if the truck need engine work to hold the stock 15psi. If not, i’m gonna need a set of Syclone pistons, rods, and main caps.
Hopefully it wont come to that. hopefully it was built right, and just needs the air/fuel tweeked.
Or else it’ll be a lot of time/money over a low mileage basket-case truck
