The 09 rules require newly built cars to abide by that, you can run the car in 08 spec with added weight. Inadition you can still run an xtrac with a weight penalty.
Ah, cool. Didnt know that. A quick read of the changes made me think it was going to COST the existing teams money, not just save the new teams money.
Will be interesting to see the old cars + weight vs the new rules cars and how quick SCCA changes weights to suit competition…
Could be worse. Could be GAC where everyone gets a weight-enabled chance to win unless anything GM is entered. They have first dibs. :shifty

We picked the car up as it sits, which needs alot of work, and no one purchased it. We are preping, renting, driving and transporting it for the owner.
