Hey, just wanted to let everyone know about an upcoming event at BeaveRun. I am on their mailing list and got an email last week about a “Test Drive” day that is coming up. It is on August 29th from 4pm to 8pm and according to the email it will consist of some time on the kart track, some autocrossing in the BeaveRun Mazda6’s, some track time on the north track in Corvettes, and some pace laps on the track in your own car. That’s a lot to do in 4 hours, but I am really excited. All of that only costs $89 bucks which is way cheaper than any of their other packages that they offer (which tend to be hundreds of dollars).
For other guys like me who have never had track time and want to get into autocrossing or track racing I think it will be a great experience and at that price I couldn’t pass it up. I just signed up on Saturday and wanted to let you guys know that there are still some spots available. Maybe I’ll finally get to meet some pittspeed people if anyone else attends.
