Immediately what I though of:
I’m glad the father was so bad ass.
I feel bad for his daughter…Period.
While I can appreciate the sentiment, if I walked in on a man molesting my daughter, he would be dead. No second thought, no remorse. That’s the point where I think justice is served.

now imagine another case where the father just wants to kill other other man for some reason. what’s to stop the second guy from just shooting some guy at his house who he hates and then making up some sex abuse story?
Honestly, you are right. Actually, I assume that this man will indeed be indicted. At that point, I am sure that the hospital evidence will likely come into play to prove that molestation did occur and that would confirm the act was in defense of his daughter.
This is why the court of law exists. If it is OBVIOUS self-defense, there will be no indictment. If there are questions about it, he will be indicted and brought in for a trial. Treyvon Martin case is a great example.

Look at the other guy in Texas who shot and killed people robbing his neighbors house after he called the cops and 911 operator told him to stay inside.
Intercourse isn’t always necessary for this type of thing to be confirmed. Of course if he was groping the child over the clothes, then there is not going to be much evidence to go on unless there are bruises. In that case, you get into muddy water. Again, same as the Treyvon case, it’s difficult to dig up enough evidence to say whether or not self/third party defense is the truth.
No sympathy here. Anyone that does that kind of shit to defenseless little kids deserves whats coming to them.
