Hrm… maybe ill start the download tonight if theres that many seeders… i need to clear up hard drive space though as im forever lazy and have a million useless files on my computer just sitting there ~_~
The game is pretty cool, as others have mentioned before, I feel like the game could consume my entire life(as if I had one).
Question : How do I level up? just by increasing certain skill levels by training?
Also : does anyone know where any other trainers are than the few in the marketplace that do not really help with my class Orc Barbarian
as far as I’m aware, by just running/using magic/using your weapon/shield you automatically build those attributes :tup:
I’m in love with this game so far… great graphics, great sound, great graphics and did I mention… outstanding graphics 
honestly though… I’m on the quest to find martin and when you go to that town (that the oblivion gate opended at) and talk to the guard… my PC chokes and get slow as hell when I look towards the town (first time that the game did this… not sure if there are alot of visual effects going on inside or something)… only way to get it to unfreeze is to look @ the ground
I tried turning down the view distance among other thing… I wonder if my GPU was just getting a little too warm? it was running the game like a champ (about 60 fps) until that part.
oh… and this game > marrowind in every way… I <3 it

Ya I was trying to play with full long view, grass, trees all maxed. Needless to say my GPU started hating me(it is only a 256mb Radeon 9600XT). Game still looks beautiful though, I will see if I can take some screen shots later today when I play.
p.s. is there a command to check FPS?
hmmm… wierd, alot of people over on the elder scrolls forum where saying great things about the performance of the 256 mb 9600
Did you get to that point I was talking about? with the quest to find martin… did you have any performance issues @ that point?
but about the FPS thing, I’m pretty sure there is but dont know the command off hand. I was just saying 60 fps as it was running very smooth without any hiccups… it may be more or less, just comparing it to other games like doom 3 and the like 
oh and BTW, those screens arent from my PC lol… no AA for me

I just cant see working on a toon just to kill mobs, I can do that in daoc on the pve servers, waste of time imo :P. and to top it off the daoc populations have been rising cause ppl have finally realized that the end game in wow is totally useless
My vid card runs it perfectly when I have the options tuned right but not when I jack everything to the max 
o wells still looks great.
Ya I felt it just a little since there were so many fires and other effects happening. Dungeons run a tad smoother than fields , you can guess why.

I am lvl 5 and have been playing it on max settings (ill do screen aps sooner or later)
But its buggy as fuck.
well, I think that it may have just been that my vid card was running warm because yesterday after work I fired it up and ran 100% fine (no hiccups or anything)… then again, I’m running 512 more megs or ram that I was previously.
at any rate, this game does > ALL
lol sucks though, I was @ the first oblivion gate, on the quest where you have to help take the town back, and an imperial guard got in the way of me killing a goblin thing and I killed him by accident (which meant, I had to kill the rest of the NPC’s as they were trying to retaliate against me)… now the “dark bortherhood” wants me to join them by assinating someone at the “ill omen” inn

I am having a fun problem where I try and load a certain area and it load super slow and never finishes…
The game has run rather well otherwise
what area is that? did you try turning some settings down? (or even try rebooting your machine to see if it’ll help)
The cave way up on the mountain (like that helps lol)

I know that morrowind was buggy as hell at first too (untl they came out with some patches). Most ppl are reporting few bugs… but it seems that some system configurations make the game wig out.
you might want to post it over @ the elderscrolls forum and see if anyone else is having the same problem
Problems I have incurred:
An forest area I was running through and it froze on several occasions so I just teleported instead.
I used this one stone shrine to unlock an temporary oblivion weapon and once the magic wore off no matter what the game froze.
I checked http://www.elderscrolls.com/ and many people are having similar upon many other problems, with crashing, and sounds and other stuff. There was even a post with a petition for a patch(which I am sure is already in the process) The things that sucks for some Xbox360 people is that they are having glitches/hdd loading problems also and will need internet plus a patch to remedy that
wierd… anyone have the problem with the game giving an error when you exit the game? I get one everytime… but it’s not a big deal, considering your exiting but ya know…
I reinstalled and guess what?
Game has been running effen flawless (thus the 4 am post)
not one crash/freeze or anything
I just figures out how to take screens too
