Suprised no one posted this yet. All over cnn, fox news, the radio, co-worker talk etc.
One thing my co-worker noticed something that I didn’t catch. The hammer throwing chick is wearing an iPod, something that obviously wasn’t in the original. So this wasn’t a simple edit and had to have come from someone with some real money invested.
Her shirt is different too. I’m guessing they re-shot the entire part with the girl. Or did one hell of a job dubbing a new one in. Either way I don’t think this was done in someone’s basement in their spare time.
Shit, it is just an edited version of the original film. Watch the chick’s shirt closely. Sometimes it does have that weird red, white, and blue logo, sometimes it’s white, sometimes it matches the orignal shirt from the Apple advertisement.
Here, I took all 4 of these screen caps from the Hillary vid. The first one shows the logo that appears on her shirt throughout most of the new clip, the second one show the same design that’s on the shirt in the original Apple ad, and the other two show how it varies throughout the vid as a result of choppy editing:

Considering it’s a poor edit job of apple’s 20th anniversary of that ad in 2004 I’d say it was a basement job.
De Vellis published the video under the moniker ParkRidge 47 – apparently a reference to Clinton, who was born in 1947 in Park Ridge, Illinois.
“I made the ad on a Sunday afternoon in my apartment using my personal equipment (a Mac and some software), uploaded it to YouTube, and sent links around to blogs,”
In 1984 Apple produced a commercial for the soon-to-be-released Mac, declaring it a revolution, don’t be a zombie following the norm, think for yourself, blah blah blah.
Someone made a parody of it saying not to follow hillary, think for yourself, don’t be a zombie swallowing her brainwashing, blah blah blah.
i dont understand the commercial, someone care to explain?

from what I understand, seems like a bunch of brainwashed people staring at her and emotionlessly listening to her rhetoric… then the chick in the hooters (obama?) uniform comes and saves the day?
It was about a totalitarian state, where no one has any freedom to choose anything and everyone was the same.
The commercial originally run by apple was run in 1984 essentially taking a poke at PCs, by showing there was an alternative out there instead of being one in the same.
The usage of Hillary in this is basically comparing her to a dictator.
EDIT: Oh wow, beat by two minutes. Hooters will save us FTW
