quickpwn.com will have the jailbreak tool when it’s released. It was supposed to be today but no sign of it yet.
As for Garmin, they have shown zero interest in an iPhone port so don’t hold your breath. That’s somewhere between a really long time and never.

Haven’t seen much for details other than that. No idea on cost, but that window mount with it’s built in GPS won’t be cheap.
if its less than 200 ill prob pick it up. wish it was garmin though

dont use quickpwn. use the dev teams redsn0w as its produced by the people who actually found the jailbreak. works great on windows 7 x64
Isn’t redsnow for the 2g iPhone only? Anyone really know if ultrasnow will really be comming out on Friday? I hope this release will not get pushed back.
Used redsn0w Sunday morning to jailbreak my 3g.
I just signed up for a 7 day trial of Sirius since the iPhone app is out. I am pretty happy with it. Good quality over 3G and a I am pretty happy with the selection. Not sure how I feel about 12.95 a month tho.
Where did XGPS go? I can’t find it in Cydia and looking at my sources I see apt.modmyi.com is in there.
so how do u hailbreak the 3g with redsnow without it alrdy jailbroken. im on 2.2.1 right now with quickpwn. but then ulttasnow comes out ill be on 3.0, whats the easyest way to use redsnow
Upgrade to 3.0 via itunes, which unjailbreaks your phone. Run redsn0w, browse to your 3.0 firmware itunes downloaded, click next, follow prompts about when to hold the power/home buttons and for how long, wait a few minutes for it to install and reboot, done.
This is jailbreak, not unlock, just to be clear.
o ok so redsnow is just like a program like quickpwn i thought it was a app in cydia. got ya now. ill be upgrading to 3.0 on friday when they say ultrasnow comes out
