Ya iFunBox is 100x better. I use it on my XP and Windows 7 laptops and works great. If I need to run a command on my iPhone I just use the terminal on it.
I know OpenSSH is just a background daemon that listens for connections but I swear it kills my battery life.

Its still dependent on your account. You basically are allowing iTunes to install the carrier settings file and then adding the settings. If ATT has gotten to your account, it should work.
I have a noob question. I just got 2 phones from AT&T ( Iphone and a Samsung ). My question is that I bought a 2G Iphone a while ago and it’s unlocked and jailbreak. If I put the sim card from the Samsung into my 2G Iphone and use it, will AT&T know that I’m using an Iphone and make me get Iphone’s data plan? Ofcourse I already got the data plan with my new Iphone. Thanks.

I need a legit source for the 3.1 software if anyone knows one, I tried going back and using the 3.0 software download but it freezes up when I jailbreak now that I have 3.1 on the phone…

What phone and what are ou looking to do? Saurik.com has a tool to downgrade to 3.0 but if you ar looking to unlock and use it on tMo your SOL as your baseband updated.
You can also go to xsellize.com and download a 3.1 jailbroken firmware with ICY and Cydia installed and will jailbreak your phone
I have the 3G, I had it jailbroken on 3.0 and when I opened iTunes today dumbass me clicked UPGRADE to the 3.1 software lol.
I have the 3.0 firmware, but it won’t let me rejailbreak the phone because it asks for CURRENT firmware which is 3.1 now

I enabled push yesterday it was iffy all day…It kept timing out seems to be ok now.

It’s working somewhat from my desktop, though I’m getting an error on the top of the gmail page about gmail not being able to access my contacts. Completely dead on the iphone though now that I’ve changed the settings over to work with push.
