The lot tonight

Im gonna pull your motor and throw it at you!

a 5.0 is probably the easiest thing to work on. even with all the emissions and ps/ac in the way

do it, save me the effort of pulling it out myself.

:giggedy Thats why i love it, i took my header off, worked it a little, had it back on and car running with new wires/plugs in about 30 mins…milkin it!

:lol

yeah yours is a bit easier than a normal mustang. not much in the way

hey man, you know i appreciate what you did for me the multiple times, thats why when you said you’re car broke down and you needed whatever help and i said i’d be there to help you out… and look what happened, me trying to so to say return the favor the joke was pulled back on me. afterall, it wasn’t my car, my gas, just my time that i could’ve been spending at h2oi which wasn’t that big of a deal. i’ll say it once again, i appreciate with all the help/assistance you’ve given me. you also knew i was going to pay you back for all the help, no way, no how i would’ve screwd you over and not pay you. i’ve had that happen to me multiple times and know exactly how it feels when you are owed(sp) money.

i have/had no intention of throwing you under the bus, the easiest way for me to sum this up is, you make fun of me/bust my balls and what not and i decided to do the same and it ended up with you going on a rampage.

brett, if you really want to talk more about this or whatever, you can pm me.

I take things well, never have I/will I let anything get to me. If Brett, which I’d have to assume he wouldn’t because I’d say we’re on good terms and buddies, but if he did bring my steering wheel somewhere far and leave it I wouldn’t get all fucking queer like Pete would, I’d do the simple “C’mon man” and ask why and then have someone(or the person who did it assuming it was just a joke) bring me to get it. Swift man, you take things quite well too like when me and Brett moved the hatch across the street to Wendy’s :lol

If it was me that drove 30-100 miles because of a joke, I really would give two fucks, gas, money, miles on my car mean nothing to me. I could tell you right now what my response would be, I’d probably just be like “oh you asshole” and brush it off. Not have (in Pete’s hoodrat terms) “my groupie” come address the jokester

::slight_smile: Don’t ask me to race if you’re not going to show.

…after burning your bridges

If I were Brett, I’d never help again if you asked, but Brett’s a good person and I’m sure he would still go out of his way to help.

Several people know on this site that I’m not the most motor friendly, I learn what I can. I love doing it, but I lack the tools sometimes. That’s why I go on forums and try to find out how to fix it myself, because I hate asking people for anything. I would drop most anything to help a friend though.

Not really sure what happened, but If someone was playing a joke and I had to drive 100miles out the way, I wouldn’t consider that a friend.

Just my .02 but the good friends I have now aren’t worth losing.

I wasnt a part of this nor do I really care, was it a bit of a dick move, yeah. If you got owned and had to drive out there throwin ya $7 should be no biggie, hell if anything that would be worth $7 to me just to get to laugh at them a little then get them a beer and let them on their way. But it seems like both sides didnt handle it very well and are a little immature, I’m not takin any sides cuz like I said I really don’t give a shit, now why don’t you all just kiss, make up and forget about it. oh yeah and :banana

ill be out tonight

No he still is a good friend. :crackup Didnt you know that if anyone ever helped you out then pulled a dumbass joke on you, you cant get mad at him…

yeh i didnt know that either…

I suppose. Again, I dont know the circumstance here.

I’d be buying them dinner or something.

Ok, just to clarify… true unbiased (well… maybe) version of the story

  1. Pete receives a call from Brett on Joey’s phone saying that he needs help in Salisbury ~30 miles from our hotel.
  2. Dave drives about half an hour to get there and we begin to drive around looking for Brett.
  3. Pete attempts to call Brett multiple times and his phone is off.
  4. Pete and I attempt to call Joey several times and he isn’t answering
  5. We stop at a gas station to ask for directions to where Pete said Brett was.
  6. After a short text message conversation with Joey, it is discovered that Brett’s car is fine and at the show that we passed on our way to finding him
  7. Dave gets angry and does a sick burnout in the Jetta.
  8. We arrive at the show and peep some sik whipz.
  9. We run into Joey who we think is involved because he seems like a sneaky guy. It turns out he is not involved and we see Brett.
  10. All 3 of us who were in the Jetta are angry so we approach Brett with our outside voices. I don’t know what Pete was saying but I was saying “Why don’t you give Dave some gas money?”
  11. Everyone starts yelling and all I understand for a few seconds is “fuck” and “fucking”
  12. Brett and Pete exchange words and Brett tells Pete to “come back to his hotel and he will break Pete’s jaw”
  13. We begin to talk reasonably until Brett throws money on the ground and demands for us to pick it up
  14. After refusing to pick it up… Brett picks it up and continues talking to us for a few minutes about how Pete is a jew… etc.
  15. We all walk away and forget about it 10 minutes later, until some tool brings it up again on an internet forum

Moral of the story

  1. Don’t threaten the 17 year old of the group ;D

:umm

lol at outside voices.

i told pete " tell him to hit me up later, and ill take care of him" but i never heard from anyone.
