Cant get the motor noise to go away even with new pushrods.
I dont know whats wrong but I dont have an endless supply of cash to keep dumping into it.

hmmmmmmm what cam and springs are ya runnin matched set or pieced together?
Comp cam and no idea what brand of springs- theyre upgraded from the factory springs but they were installed when I bought them (new heads).
ya otta find out ya might be killin the cam or lifters bud ya know how to check lift and shit on the cam and compare to the spec card???
The springs are good for 600 lift and my cam is only 555 lift.
Ive got both spec sheets.
Most people I talked to said to leave the stock lifters in but I had new ones put in anyway.
yeah but summits are cheap as lifters they coulda got fucked up and wrecked when the head went bad on ya

He was taking the intake off yesterday I think. I havent bothered to call him about it.

it sounds like he may not have the appropriate lifter rocker combo the rockers maybee the wrong ratio causing the lifters to colapse and maybee soon to bend pushrods just my 2 cents

Its a custom ground cam setup for use with 1.6 roller rockers.
The rockers are Harland Sharps.

The problem Im having is that I need somebody else to fix the other people’s mistakes so it goes somewhere else. A bunch of cobbed shit was fixed this time around.
It was fine for a week or two after it was all fixed. I put over 500 miles on it before it fucked up.
