The new piece of A.S.S

Albany Speed Shop is taking on a new focus.

Rumors on the street is the new location will be a new 7500 sqft building @ 129 school road Voorheesville but with all the same kick ass employees. Specializing in saab and speed shop stuff. Wrenches will resume spinning around mid Sept. Tons of parking for all the stuff we have talked about already and nice cruising roads to get there, but not too far off the beaten path.

This thread is to stop the incorrect assumptions BEFORE they start. Just know that they are still in it to win it, and support the local car community 100%. For a little while no questions will be answered, for obvious reasons. If you want more info look at the albanyspeedshop.com site, albany speed shop face book and a new site coming called albanysaabshop.com

I am not employed by them, not affiliated to them… this is just what I heard pour out of the rumor mill, so I felt like passing it along.

so are your assumptions incorrect?

Of course of course

If you’re not affiliated with them, why are you posting on their behalf?

Just sayin.

no I am not assuming anything. Information i posted is real. The post was to head off other peoples assumptions when they start seeing the doors close on Central ave. We all know how the words can get twisted around here, they dont want that to happen… and since they cant comment on anything until its finalized that leaves the flood gates open for a month of he said, she said, I heard BS.

I am not affiliated money, job, legally at all to them. I am here to help friends and family’s that work damn hard for everyone, and diverse fair representation. Its as simple as that.

I think OPs intentions were to not let this turn into a redline style gossip thread later down the road…

at least i think that’s how i translated the 18 paragraphs he wrote. :rofl :rofl :rofl

yes wayne. exactly.

Most of you know how they roll at A.S.S. Polar opposites from the dude across the street. Only difference is Howard and his friends choose not to stand up for themselves on here, A.S.S CANT for a little while. So in knowing how shit rolls down hill here, this is the best I though I could do to make things easier for a deserving friend.

Dont worry, they will come in here as soon as they can and explain whats going on when the time comes.

I knew your intentions, no worries. Preventative maintenance, so to speak.

I am sure you did Chris and yes you are correct, this is preventative maintenance. :number1

there are a few decent backroads from 146/155 to get there. All I really care is that they are closer to me now :lol

Voorheesville is in canada, correct?

yep def. get together cruise days FTW

Exactly.

lets all meet in lake george and go there together!! LOL

word on the skreeeets is darryl got some “rock” habits…thats why they be closing. ya didnt hear it from me…skeet skeet…

jk cant wait till things get all back on track! A.S.S A+

mike you always say “across the street” in reference to Redline. that DeNooyer building was never an Official Redline building, they just had the sign up there because they joined up with DeNooyer in building the cars.

that building is simply another building that the DeNooyer family owns, and they are filling the lot with cars now.

Where is vville are they looking at?

concept still applies, for the most part. There were interactions on occasion, leaving it at that.

Google map the address I listed. Its a great spot. I honestly think it fits them more; its out in the sticks a bit, lower key, just feels more like the shop they want to be.

whoops… didn’t notice the address in the original post.

damn… that’s literally .3 miles from my work. Will have to swing by when I get out and check out the building. Is it the building with the long ASS driveway (pun intended)

I think it is. :number1
