The Rapid Move To All Electric (But Real Goal = No Personal Cars)

Dealerships are saying this impacts them, but the state says it doesn’t. Who’s right?

People don’t like realize how they vote matters until you can’t buy a car, gun, ninja sword etc

looks like the ICE used car market gonna be booming

most people who buy new cars can’t afford a home charger, 67% of americans don’t have savings

they’ll have to include them with the purchase (like ford does, idk if they still do) or build them into the loan/price.

or people will just stop buying new cars

edit - guess someone could just buy an ICE car in another state

Not a bad looking station wagon
I mean “SUV”

quick google search says it has lots of E-sound features. Please do comment on what that actually is.

what the literal fuck 2026 HUMMER EV SUV and Pickup Truck Reveal | GMC

hopefully they make the power increase available to the 22-25 models. from the description it sounds like theres no new hardware, just increasing the power allowed through the inverters.

Deep aura metallic looks nice

Volvo…
How it started:

How it’s going:

Car companies need to react quickly, volvo does not do this. I’m surprised they are still around tbh

Another EV backtrack, and HUGE news for GM Tonawanda. $888 million investment in GM Tonawanda Powertrain plant for GM’s V8 engines. Guess the V8 isn’t dead at GM.

I wonder when I will get my new 6.2L after GM just recalled 600k trucks.
https://gmauthority.com/blog/2025/05/gm-6-2l-v8-l87-recall-good-engines-to-get-extended-warranty-coverage/

The proposed fix is going to 0w40 and extending the warranty, but I believe that has been scrapped as a “fix”

It’s bad enough the truck has been at the shop for the last 2-3 months waiting for a transmission valve body.

I can’t even imagine how long it would take to replace all those engines if they’re scrapping the 0w40 fix. I have a 2022 Tahoe, so we will see how this goes I guess.
