bics’ ws6 is stock and showroom condition, so there is nothing rice about it…mine has z06 wheels, brakes and motor parts so i guess if thats rice, then so be it… i look at it as better performing factory parts (since the cars share so many arts to begin with). i would consider an fbody being rice if the wing was added the the existing one (which i’ve seen), maybe some retarded graphics on the side or something, but a different looking factory-replica badge of the car isnt exactly what i would call rice…but whatever.

I agree it is ricey to add something really gay, like a type-r badge to your bone-stock honda civic DX. But some of the stuff is just slightly different or better looking. Same with the nissans… I’ve heard people been called ricers for adding a Silvia badge to a 240sx. Or a fairlady-z badge to a 300zx.
I had genuine GM '69 Z/28 badges on my '99 Camaro. I always got positive comments on 'em and I didn’t consider 'em rice at all. Did they come on ther car? Sure, if you count 30 years prior.

wouldnt that be kinda like calling my car a Z06 since ive got all ls6 parts (assuming i have my heads installed, which is the last thing i have to do)? in that case i could see calling it rice, but i think running a ls6 badge or a z06 replica badge that says ws6 is kinda c ool idea. it shows your mods and still looks factory and still advertises the car for what it is. i dunno. 1320, there is definatley gray area and i agree domestic guys do give import guys shit for the smallest stuf…like a red H on the honda logo or whatnot. i’m not against stuff like that if it is in good taste. i guess it all just depends. but in this case i dont see it being a big dweal or being deserved the rice term. i guess its like when people have base T/As and then get the hood and 17’s and put a ws6 badge on them. i dont really like it, but i believe they make ws7 (or ws9 or something) specifically for cars that are converted…in which case i dont mind…i could be wrong though, any f-body guys want to verify that?
