On my 18x9.5 NISMO LMGT4s I run a 275/40/18, well, Mike (MPD47) was co-driving and after NCCC, he and I got the brilliant idea to stuff a 305/30 Hoosier (lightly used) on the back since we had major wheelspin issues at the autox… granted that was more likely due to an over-enthusiastic throttle foot cough MIKE cough but still. Traction is a good thing. Ordered up some cheap 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra rims, offset seemed pretty much perfect on paper, 18x9 ET 26 18x10.5 ET 27 and honestly, minus the stupid cobra center caps (buddy at a machine shop was gonna make ones with the Z logo for me anyway) they’re quite impressive quality / weight / finish. At least, IMO, but still who cares, they’re race wheels, might flat-black them anyway
So the wheels came in today. Test fit a rear, I taped up the lug holes and the inside of the centerbore in case it was WAY off and I needed to send them back… put two 2x4 pieces stacked under the rim and several layers of a rubber mat and lowered the car’s weight on it to compress the suspension fully.
Sorry about the pic quality, Pat (roommate / photographer) is a tard and under-exposed them and shot at ISO400, doh.
So WILL THE TIRES FIT my bodywork?
