It only aired ONCE and it was during the 1990s SuperBowl. Nissan pulled it because they thought it promoted street racing. And it was directed by Riddley Scott - the same director of the movies Alien, Black Hawk Down, Gladiator and Blade Runner just to name a few

Heh, I remember both those commercials but oddly the bits I remember had NOTHING to do with remembering the 300zx. 
That first vid was great. Such a funny and original commercial.
