truck is so wierd, theres not even an option for it on ebay either.
The thing i would do is see if the head gaskets turbos ect are done if so thats a huge plus for selling. And look into the law suit u can get some cash for the issue that fords giving out. And old ass cummins ho for 5-10 all day so i dont see 8k for yours a issue
Like the others have posted 6.0 power chokes really suck. Honestly the bed configuration semir posted or a dump body will be the best way to sell it. If you want to tow a 2 or 3 car trailer legally you will need a class a cdl. I would figure out if the motor has been touched first then decide if you should cut and run.
The old Cummins is a proven reliable motor that will last several hundred thousand miles though. The Ford 6.0 is a motor most people don’t want.
8k as it sits sounds reasonable as long as the major issues have been addressed. I know my friend spent around $3500 to get the EGR/oil coolers and head studs done on his. Any potential buyer who looks at this truck is going to take that into consideration if they know anything about the 6.0s.

It appears everyone hates the 6.0s but i think i still stole it at 4300… Thing is mint inside and out… Motor is clean as can be too and runs flawless
A dealer was going to give my brother $12k on a trade in for his beat up '05 Ram 2500 with 130k but he decided to keep the truck instead of getting a new one. He bought it new in '05 and has beat the shit out of it ever since and it keeps going. He only changes the oil when the filter rots out.
We run 60k on oil changes at work lmao. The fact u have a ford truck thats not rotted is amazing lol
There’s no bed to rot on this truck. Most superduties I’ve seen have decent cabs but the beds rot out.
I had a '00 F250 for a work truck last year that was surprisingly clean with no real rot though

The problem there is if you buy something that is out of powertrain warranty and there is a mechanical issue there aren’t any 20 or 50 dollar parts on most diesels. More like 200-1000 dollar parts and the labor is big $$$ too since there are fewer people to work on them.
If you got it that cheap then either sell it and get rid of it or set it up as a dump truck or tow rig and sell it. Personally I think you will have more luck with a flat deck tow body.
if you plan on towing with a 3 car gooseneck trailer you are going to need a CDL, just so you are aware
