pittsburgh thunder was fun… it’s a fucking 330 for christ’s sake… and it’s for a good cause.
you jackasses should be practicing your launching for the 1/4 and here you’ll get just that… i know for a fact that i had well over 10 passes last year and it was worth it in the respect that i got to work on launches over and over…
it’s fun and i’ll be there.
i know its a good cause but some of us don’t have $35… I’d gladdly donate $10 just for a cause but $35 to race for 5 seconds is dumb. You can’t practice lauching down there cause you are gonna just go up in smoke, well atleast us RWD people. Imagine a Turbo regal leaving with 10lbs of boost. If anything you gotta baby it outta the hole
cutty, after 20 passes don’t you think your RWD guys put down enough rubber that’ll look like keystone… remember general robinson last year? there was enough tire to stick like a champ after a few passes… i was pulling 2.0 60’s down there…
granted 35 is too much… last year they advertised 25 and charged 50 at the event !!!
but keep in mind you are racing your g-body’s between the two stadiums in pittsburgh… not something that is generally (legally) attainable.
see i’m down there enough, i know the cops and when they are patrolling those nice streches of drag strip…i mean road. I’ve had enough runs between the stadiums to last me for a while. Ask Bj, it didn’t matter how much rubber was there, any car with power spun except sailor and the $40k cyclone. I may go watch if i’m back from norwalk but i’m not running
i got no traction down there last year!! but it was still cool to do a burnout and get away with it!!! had fun but i will be there watching this year!!
