what numbers did this thing put down when it was done ??
you did a ton of work to that tib and had it lookin and runnin pretty nice, but theres no doubt a bmw is the way to go

i am getting an 02 because iwant SMG, which was not available in 01, 01-03 had engine failures but mainly 01, but all of 01-03 got the 100k warranty
The 02 and 03 engine failures are extremely rare and didnt really have anything to do with the rash of failures in 01 (rod bolts combined with improper tolerances on an oiling system part). I can understand the want for SMG though, but also think about a software upgrade, the shifts can aparently be made much crisper with the factory CSL software (good luck).
ive never read anything yet about CSL software for the SMG, im gonna keep the car mod free, probably wheels catback intake and suspension
