Composure is good. Traditional, but good. I really like the contrast of the yellow on either the black or white. However its overshadowed by the fact that the colors are VERY washed and not very natural looking. On a set like this Id suggest a lot of selective desaturation.

yes i upped the sat. on them to bring out the yellow, looked better that way that without it to me…maybe i’ll mess with them again who knows
Well the yellow looks OK. Id suggest using selective colors to hone it in a bit, and give it maybe more of a deeper hue of yellow. Also the thing with just upping the saturation is it ups everything and all blacks, white and mid-tones have a strange unnatural tint to them.
yea i do notice it does that with the blacks a little bit, would be nice if it didn’t saturate the black, i mean WTF heh
the bike was pretty wet also, so that could be some of why its like that
Hmmm IDK. I gave it a shot myself and the results where pretty solid. Follow my write up on FStop and you’ll be heading the the right direction

As ive said before, i just hate seeing this because your “engineering/calculations logic” here went as far as… “hey, it bolts up”
I know you’re not racing this thing, but even for street manners, the geometries of these bikes are so concise, im certain they arent at “stock” levels… which by the way probably took a bunch of nerds YEARS to perfect…
Especially when 636’s are notorious for being twitchy.
I’m not worried, there’s tons of people on WERA who do this mod because it’s lighter and stronger than the 03-04. It shortens up the wheelbase a little but not much. I also upgraded to the 08 Shock and rear brake.

Not really interested in going to NYI to race, riding in a straight line isn’t really my thing. I would like to do a track day with Jon and his brother at some point before winter, just got some new tires mounted up.
Justin told me about it today, he was with Jose and Mike. I would go but just to watch :tup:
I like it :tup: the swing arm looks wayyy better in person and the bike handles 1000 times better than mine, I was shocked when I took it for a spin
