if u r on a SRT forum, advertise it on there. if there r any other free places, like Automart, u can try that. if u go somewhere, like to the store, put a FOR SALE sign w/ your number in the window as its sits in the lot. be patient. u gotta realize this isnt the greatest time of year to sell a car. but soon enough you should have people interested. it took me about 2 1/2 months to sell my vette. and that was in the summer. good luck.
don’t let anyone test drive it till they are serious, i hate people that tire kick.
always keep it clean!
you guys think my asking price is too high, its right aroudn what the kbb says its worth
You’re better off asking more than what you want, especially in the AutoTrader. People always want you to come down on the price.
I don’t see you getting $17,500 out of a used “Neon”, I’m sorry buddy.
Anytime you sell a car that new, you’re going to take it in the ass.
well he can always drop the price a bit for final sale. for an asking price, it doesnt seem all that high
Well i dunno… KBB is always lower than what NADA is… so you could ask a little bit more… but you dont wanna get it too high that when ppl see the price, they just flip the page, cuz they feel they’ll never get you down to their price level… and i agree w/ Weaves… honestly, i dont believe most ppl know what an SRT-4 is… and when they see its a neon, and you want 18K, they’re gonna think you are nutz
but people that r loooking for a normal neon arent gonna want a SRT4 anyways. its people that know/want an SRT4 that r gonna be the ones that matter. i say for now wait it out w/ that price and go down if u want when u get someone there to look at it. after 3 weeks or so, then drop the initial asking price down a bit. be patient, dont short yourself just to make a quick sale.
How quickly do you want to make the sale? I had my Explorer on Autotrader for about two months before it sold. I came off my price $500 in my ad after the first month. I only got about 8 calls and most of them were no longer interested when I told them that it was a manual. If you are willing to wait a few months, just stick to your price and you’ll only have to come down a little bit in the end.
I just put my Civic up for sale on Autotrader. I put a high price, but if someone is serious, I’ll easily lower it $500. Hopefully someone will take it off my hands. Too much work for me, not enough money and time.
I’d throw it in the pennysaver 70+ areas and will be only $30
I sold My camaro and regal that way, they where both snatched up within a week :booty:
did you sell them for the price they were worth
