Tissot PRC200 Automatic watch

I know there’s a few guys on here who like watches, so I figured I’d list this here.

Model: Tissot PRC200 Automatic

Movement:
Swiss 2836-2

Condition: 9/10, and the only reason I would only give it a 9 it because it is “used,” there are no scratches on the face.

Details: Water resistant to 200M, 39MM case, weighs in at 154 grams, sapphire crystal glass, screw down crown, can be manually wound as well. I also have the extra links that were removed from the bracelet when it was fitted to my wrist.

Asking Price:
$425

Background:
I purchased this watch 12/31/2011 brand new from Jared near the Galleria Mall (I have all the paperwork to prove this). I’ve worn it almost daily since then, but I NEVER wear it when I work on my car, or anywhere where it might get scratched or dirty. I take very good care of the things I own and this watch is no exception.

Warranty: 2 year warranty on the movement through Jared, I will check and see if this is transferable.

NOTE: This watch runs a few minutes fast over the course of +/- a few weeks. It never really bothered me, so I would just turn it back if it got to be running too fast.

Reason For Sale:
I’m chasing something else, plain and simple.

A Google Shopping search has this watch between $450 and $600. I’m firm at $425 for a local sale. It’s a beautiful watch, but as I stated before, I’m looking into something else.

you interested in trades at all?

I’m waiting for Crazy Socks Bing to come in and vouch for this watch before I consider anything.

j/k, GLWS!

It’s a decent first step as far as Swiss Autos go. I don’t think it’s worth the asking price, but I am sure it’s negotiable as usual.

im thinking it should be very negotiable. there are some similar ones on ebay (with chronograph) for under $200.

You’re right, there are a lot of PRC200s on Ebay for under $200, but there are automatic PRC200s and quartz PRC200s. The ones you are looking at are probably quartz.

It is a good entry level Swiss auto. As far as the price, I haven’t found it cheaper.

Nice lookin clock. That kinda money bites into my car parts budget.

Price drop to $400

$400 is a good price for getting into man-watches. I’m personally not a Tissot guy but it’s a nice piece.

quick ebay search for prc200 auto’s has the buy-it-nows at ~$440+ so this isn’t totally out to lunch.

 thanks bing

Bump, I’ll entertain offers

Very nice watch, but I’m also not a Tissot guy.GLWS Tho

one last bump before i keep it

bump

$350

For anyone looking it is 39mm which is a small/mid sized watch.
I was interested for my bro as a grad gift, but ~42mm was my min.
