I have never been to IMAX … Is it a good time… would a child(6 years old) like it?

watching imax for most movies is a waste of fucking money, the screen is way too large to take in a lot of what is going on. A little kid will have an even harder time watching that.
Where is the option to not see it at all.
that was not a option, but the real option would be to go to a normal size screen
Honestly, i only go to the imax when i have a free movie pass. its nice, but mmehh, its not worth the money to me. Usually the imax does make a movie better. but for some movies, nothing can help to make it any better, “the day the earth stood still”
apparently it cost less to see an imax in boston mass than it is to see a regular movie, so i was told from a boston kid. fucking $10 to see the imax. why are we getting fucked over?
edit: if it was the batman movie, iron man, star trek…then i would say spend the extra money to see it. but not this.
I remember when movies were $1.50 at the super saver.
Now I just pirate blu-rays. Yaarrg.
