Why do people fret asking someone to marry them? You obviously know the person you are going to ask and have a very good idea what the answer will be, so what’s the big deal?
Congrats, marriage is a lot of fun and much better than being single, IMHO.
how did you propose? Did you do the whole ask her parents, get down on 1 knee thing or just ask her?

Well she had surgery, so I bought her a get well soon gift. It was a bulldog statue with a sunflower on it’s head, and it said “smile…things could be worse” and I put the ring on top of the front two sunflower leaves. when she opened the box, I asked " will you merry me?"
