never doubted the truck but its still a joke that he couldnt get his times. just like a few mach 1s going 15s. a few s/c cobras going high 13s or even a few ls1s going 14s. its all the driver. but sorry for 50k you can go alot quicker for alot less and make more power for less. that truck is a status symbol

At least the Lightning has a 5000lb towing rating on it. That and can be made faster much cheaper.
you can even get something cheaper and run faster for the same about as a lightning but it is nice to have a warrenty when running those times

ever compare the 92’s to the 95 cams? lol he gained like 6mph with those things…i have 93 cams in mine which has a .009" smaller exhaust lobe. he may have gotten the front fixed i have no ideam, his best so far was a 12.6 from what he was tellin me everyone thinks i’m him

Yea, I know they’re slightly more agressive, but I wouldn’t call them “wild.” My buddy is running Web cams in his '92 - those are insane.
If he picked up 6 mph with those, I think something else may have been off. I don’t think they’re that much better. But, if you could throw some specs up, or link me to them, :dunno:
when we measured the lobe on the exhaust side in terms of lift we saw 1/8th of an inch…not thousandths or hundtreths difference, 1/8th of an inch more lift (same duration) as 2g cams. intake side not as noticeable but still a big difference.
