I was doing the same thing, I think I made it as far as lvl 36 too. Then I figured out you could upgrade/sell and beat it on the first try.

I had 10 on one board and thought that was over-kill but I think you redefined the term.
I decided to go the other route and see how few I could have. Everything you see on the board is maxed out except the shock tower.
Good job guys. You beat it and set the score standards on the easiest levels.
Why not try a different difficulty and prove your man hood there?
