dude, i heard about this on the radio and was on a different highway when it happened. that was on the 401 at Guelph Line in the morning this week… not Barrie. the 401 doenst go to Barrie.

just happened to be video recording a random drive on the thruway when this happened. kinda odd.

probably a company vehicle, looks like either a van or truck judging from the height of the camera compared to the semi on the right. Cameras are good to have on company vehicles so that when some asshat blows a red light and hits a delivery van, the delivery company has a solid defense.
I ran a dash cam in my truck for a couple days… I already owned the camera, and it wasn’t doing anything just sitting there… I see some weird shit when I’m driving around.
Yeah that absolutely RUINED the commute for everyone from Kitchener to Toronto that day.

Interesting to see the Windshield crack while he’s swerving, and I think the car that was in front of him is the black mass bouncing off the median after he’s around it. It looks like that guy got slammed with a lot of concrete.

I think the crack in the windshield was from him swerving to the right and perhaps hitting another car?
I would much rather hit the guy next to me off the road than wait to get killed by an oncoming semi.

I really doubt it. You would have noticed the impact of hitting another car in the video. Pretty sure one of the many chunks of concrete that got thrown at him took out the windshield.
