My girlfriend has a 06 Civic EX…
with about 9k miles
she now wants a 06 Fuji Blue Civic Si
not sure if dealer does this but can she go back to the dealer where she got it and trade it in for the Si without putting like another down payment on it?

this person will get ass raped better off keeping it for 2 yrs
x eleventy million…
i got my ass handed to me when i had my truck for 2 months.
hmmmm, well i guess its always worth a look and see what we could do…
would be nice to play with the K20… hell she already passes undercover cops at 93mph in a 50 zone in Outer banks with the 1.8 :kekegay:
Then that pile was tapped out I bet. Why dont you do both of you a favor and sell your pile you own so she will have more money and you wont have to drive a joke of a car anymore.
trans am ws6s are jokes
I agree 100%
x 80 billion
i dont think it takes a k20 to go 93 mph.
but they are fun to play with. nh4442 had his turbo’d at 3,000 miles. it was nice and comfortable to drive around, and pretty quick for a street car. pretty expensive aftermarket for that stuff though.
all it would get is an AEM and a muffler, thats all
Don’t trade the EX for the Si unless: She put a huge down payment on the EX to help eat the “instant drive off the lot” depreciation. Or doesn’t mind a huge jump in monthly payments otherwise…
shes stuck with the car.
she threw about 7g’s down on the EX,
her payments are $299 a month now, im expecting to go to 315-350 at the most…
christ, i seen BMW’s with 300 a month payments
Don’t even bother…I tried trading in my accord for a new si, I would have been paying over $400 a month for like 72 months. Whatever she owes on the ex, they will tack onto the payments for the si. If she really wants to get rid of it, sell it, don’t trade it in. Best to wait though.
7K down on a civic is pretty decent. If the payments will only go up like $20 a month, that’s not bad. What Magicalmarge said is true tho. Lets say the ex cost 18K after taxes, u put 7k down on it. You’d end up with 11K to finance. Next u have to consider what the trade in blue book value for the car would be. Lets say they’d give u 9k for it as a trade in toward the Si. That means you’ve lost 2k from trade in value to amount owed on the car…so ur 20k Si would end up costing u 22k…not much over a 5 or 6 yr period tho.
Something to think about
holy crap over 400 dollars for a damm civic
if youre paying that much a month get something worthwhile
civic came out to be 21k total… even without NAV
i think 300 a month is pretty damn expensive but o well…
and her insurance is 560 a month… which is INSANE!!!
my girl and her mom are on the same insurance policy and her mom only gives her 50 bucks a month… her mom says that she really only owes 29 a month but gives 50 anyways… I think this is straight BULLSHIT! her mom has had over 4 DUI’s in her lifetime and my girlfriend hasnt even had a parking ticket for christ sake… If she goes onto her stepdad’s policy ( which i been telling her to do for the past 4 months) she’ll only be paying 50 a month…
I beleive that she is paying so much because of her mom (granted the DUI’s are off the record now) but i still think it makes a difference… my girlfriend is getting fucked out of that deal.
560 a month. I could be insured for a couple of exotic cars for that much. Wow how many accidents or speeding tickets has she had?
edit:oops i see were you said her mom and her.
have the person man up and get their own!!!
