Train horns?

I wanna but a train horn for my f350, there’s a bunch out there so I’m not sure what to get. Anyone have one or had one that can give me some input. This seems like it could entertain me for a few months driving around lol

You need a compressor and air tank as well. Then there’s running power and plumbing air lines. It’s not as simple as just bolting on a train horn.

I have one of these on the Miata…

And here’s what it sounds like (when I had it on my SV650…)

Yeahhh. I realize that. Just curious about what kit to get

Redneck!!!

my buddy has hornblasters kit on his truck. pretty loud, id say he has had them atleast 6 years and theyre still fine.

If it is not a Nathan, Leslie, Prime or Holden, then it isn’t a real train horn…

I have a friend with a one of these. It’s huge!

Lolilolollol was that your mom?

Thats whats up. I would love to hear that, what does he use to run it? Just a small vair compressor and a 5 gallon tank?

Lol, did she make you uninstall it? (moto)

Haha yeah that was the madre, she was joking. That was taken at like 10am I think, she was probably just waking up.

Right now he is in the process of restoring it, so he doesn’t have it hooked up. I know he has a couple other train horns as well, so I will ask him what he runs them with.

Do we really need more loud train horns in this world?
(The previous statement is biased as the poster is lower middle class and lives very near a major rail system)

I do find those videos hilarious, I don’t even know why but…

Don’t need to be lower middle class or live very near a major rail system. A quiet night and winds out of the south and everyone from Walden Ave to Main St. can hear the train horns.

I can’t believe people still put these things in their brodozers.

I live a lot closer to them than Walden or Main. I’m so close I could pick the engineer’s out of a lineup.
