are you allowed to drive around without the bed on your truck? I am going to get a new bed sometime in the future but want to take my old bed off to “practice” bodywork on, will the cops get all pissy because of this?

you could build a wooden box on the back and call it a work truck?!?
need mud flaps or build a wooden bed (Uncle Jesse style:D) Leave the bed on and work on it while still on the truck. Prob easier.
