Tuning Book?

I’m looking for a tuning book to purchase and read through to get a better idea of what to do and look for. I’m not tuning anything now but it’s something i’d really like to read up on and learn more than just the basics about engines. anyone have any suggestions?

thanks!

this book, and his NA tuning book are the best 2 i have read

basics crash course: http://www.megamanual.com/begintuning.htm

hmm well i have some reading to do. thanks!

also i ordered the book toda posted up.

that book is too basic

you will end up ordering the 2 i posted… or just one of them if you aren’t interested in both NA and FI tuning

There are lots of really awful books out there. Just don’t take everything you read as gold. There are typographical errors that change the meaning of some definitions and theories. Others are just flat out wrong.

Maximum boost and the books zerodaze mentioned are pretty solid for the basics.
