Time has come to sell my Turbonetics Evolution Wastegate. I’m upgrading to a new TiAl wastgate with a bigger spring, so this needs to go. It’s a standard Turbonetics Evolution Wastegate (35 mm) with a 5psi spring in it. Before I made the choice to switch to the TiAl and spend the cash, I went through an “rebuilt” this. I just took it apart and painted the hat, and cleaned it out. I also loctited the nut on the valve that connects it to the diaphram.
When I painted the hat, I used 3 coats of semi-gloss engine enamel, and then wet-sanded with 600 grit to get the coat even. I ended up taking a little too much off in one spot, so I added another 3 coats of the semi-gloss black engine enamel. After that dried, I went through and hand-painted the Turbonetics, Evolution, and the Turbonetics emblem by hand with red automotive paint. I used 2 coats. After that I went through and put 4 coats of clear on top. Needless to say, it came out pretty well IMO, but I guess thats up to you guys to judge 
. With the several coats, the finish should be pretty darn durable. But enough with the rambling, onto the pics…

I’m asking 175 OBO for it. It is in great condition. If I hadn’t already bought my TiAl, I probably would be keeping it. But I already ordered it, so this has to go. Price is negotiable, but please no low-ballers. Thanks!
