I feel like the “rice” may start to really filter itself out of the system as time goes on. Maybe not this year but as the years go buy, I definitely see less on the roads. Unfortunately, there was so much there last year.

Well, there are nice vintage and/or significant Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, and Mazda cars running around WNY…it would be a great opportunity to see them show up. I’d like to see Starions/Conquests (i know id bring a couple), and RX-7’s, Miatas, Supras, and of course…the original Japanese sports car…the Z make a representation on there given night.

id like to see some sort of selection process or a sticker you get in the beginning to qualify your car to enter the oval etc. cars with rims and a fart can waste the space for the cars that SHOULD be in there. no one wants to look at that crap anyway

I think they started to button down on that a little bit towards the end of the yr last year when it really started filling up, i remember a couple kids, scott(95civicex) being one of them not being able to get in becouse of the way his car looked. Told him it wasnt “show quality” I think thats when his talon was all one color too :picard: Idk either way i still remember seeing riced out civics and so on in the circle, they do need to do a muchh better job with that…

This is an incredibly dumb Idea I mean I could understand keeping out all the average cars such as grand am’s, basically factory vehicles that roll in for free(without systems because there is that part of the show). But, giving someone the role to just decide what cars to let in is retarded. Any car enthusiast should be able to show off they’re car, even if its held together with ducktape and zip ties… Mainly because I love being that guy that just comes over and laughs with a bottle of soco in hand. Keep it how it was but just don’t let in the average suv/cars that are factory.

Actually, you’d probably get a decent turn out of Z’s. Out of the entire japenese family, I’d bet the Z’s would make the biggest presence.

are you talking about the z series dotsun? or were you talking about just the z nissan. They weren’t considered Japanese until dotsun was bought out by nissan. Either way I couldn’t see more than 30 z’s showing up it would be a bum car show.

I wanted to race rice a few times…but when i had the exhaust just dumped, half the time I would be rolling up to the line alone, my car wasn’t that fast, but faster than most at Lancaster last year.

This purple classic mustang and I however always had a good showing, usually nearly door to door…unless I hooked at the line.

Agreed, everyone has their own opinion of what is a nice car and what isn’t so I say just let them in. If you get there and the circle is full, get there earlier.

It is just for fun not a competition, keep it that way.
