***Un-Official SNOW Drifto Thread!!***

Just got back from a South Towns adventure and all I can say is the plows are on their game tonight but then again I hit up some generic spots; McKinley, ECC, BAC, etc.

me and my buds have been going to a huge empty parking lot on lake ave. right by the train tracks, plenty of space to mess around

couple vids from last year…

BUMP…! Can we haz drifto meet 2010?

I seriously have almost no snow at my house. WTF is this shit. Also come over Sunday.

I don’t either, I just drove out to depew to mess around lol. Sunday what time? I should be free by 8

you are correct sir…very dissapointing

come to my house pussey i have over a foot, ian and i are doing such things this weekend

If I am not spending the day repairing my broken water drain line from my house(oh yeah I am fucked) I will be working on my car all night Sunday as this Sunday will have been two weeks since I touched it and I am stressed/need wrench time.

I am legit bummed. Snowball fight soon? :nohomo:

Sounds fun. This weekend is a no go but maybe the next?

sounds good <3

I got 2 inches at my house, WTF??? I did enjoy driving in it yesterday and honking at all the assholes in ditches. The best was honking at the dumb bitches in a Sebring on McKinley that missed the turn for Quinby, slid over the curb, and ended up about 300 feet stuck on the curb north bound on the south bound side.

There was a one car accident by Lowes in Hamburg in Southwestern Blvd. Fucking dumb shit in a brand new Impala/Malibu hit a utility pole, one of those metal ones not a wood one, car was destroyed. There was a AAA mobile battery replacement truck in the right lane about 300" up from the light for Howard Road. I’m in the right lane, first car, there is some douche hat in the left lane in some shit car. As the light is still red he starts to creep up cause he knew I was going to try and out accelerate him and cut over and just keep going. I look over and give him the thumbs up as if to say good luck. I was at Gullo’s nursery buying my festive holiday house shit before this douchbag moved a foot.

I get such an emotional erection when I see assholes in the ditch because they have shit tires, it truly makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Honking at them brings me to orgasm, especially when they have a look on their faces of total boooo ness

STi + Snow Tires + 65 down transit/southwestern = fun fucking times.

THe b5 has some wicked understeer, damn this flawed quattro. And yeah wtf my apartment by Deleware Park has NO FUCKING SNOW. BOO.

understeer? not mine

Do you have snows on it? I only ask as my old B5 wagon was the same way the first winter I bought it, I didn’t have snows and the front would just plow forever. Once I got snows on it the ass end would just snap out like nothing, i honestly think that it was easier to get the wagon sideways then the 4000.

Right now some shitty all seasons with decent tread. JayS, I KNOW  compound blah blah blah.

I’m sure it will help putting some snows on but I remember reading the b5’s AWD having more understeer than the newer models. Idk I could be horribly wrong.

I hit up EPIC during lunch before the plow came through, with some decent snow this old girl is stupid fun.

My B5 wagon was a totally different car with 4 nokian WR’s on it. I have never owned a car that was so easy to step the back end out in the snow with. All Audi’s understeer in the snow without snow tires due to the fact that the engines are so far forward. 4000’s are horrific understeerers without snow tires. You can turn, brake, and accelerate just fine with regular tires in the snow. But, if you try and do two of those things at once without snows, it’s over.

I have spanked tires and my B5 drifts fine. It understeers on dry, but it even drifts dirt/gravel nicely. I do find, however, it is always hard to brake and accelerate at the same time no matter what car or what tires I have.

I have suspension and extra powa so not sure what role that plays.

My 95 1.8 impreza was sick in the snow with all seasons, ripped some serious cyclones. I used to drive to eastern hills mall just to go to the back section where they don’t plow. You could just get flying and stay sideways forever. I would do really long drifts where I would end parrallel with the edge of the parking lot and keep driving, or practice really big drifting circles or tight ones around the light pulls.

We should set up a gymkana course somewhere.
