Walker, your car should be at least as good as any of the many 3 series that are driven by 50 year old women across WNY. You have an LSD too, so that should help.
I work with 2 young guys that bought base CTS’, neither one is driving theirs in the winter. Their responses, “They’re rear wheel drive!?!?” Wow, my 55 year old woman neighbor drives a CTS all year.
the touareg is a animal. it loves to be sideways. I just wished the tiptronic mode would not shift gears automatically. it really makes things complicated when they don’t need to be.

LOL I had meant to ask you about it. I haven’t had the opportunity yet to take it out in some snow, but I just think it handles like garbage even on dry pavement. That said, I think I’m gonna ride it out this winter on my almost new all seasons 
I bought Pirelli P4 Four-Seasons for the car, so I can let you know how it is on Monday, right now I have (4) 165/65/14 bald TigerPaw crapholes of tires on it, and I don’t even need AWD to do hurricanes in 1 inch of snow.
40mpg justifies the crappiness. Plus I don’t have to care about the car minus oil changes lol, its a tank.
Tigerpaws are garbage! My fiancee’s Integra has those on and fortunately she only spun out once last year. So I decided to give her my Hakka’s this year while I ride on the all seasons. I just can’t get over though how much body roll there is going around simple turns. The gas mileage though is nice.
Body roll is fun lol. I’m thinking about getting PIAA lights for the front of the car this winter and rallying it next season.
Think it finally might be time to throw the winter wheels on the s4 even though I could go mow my lawn right now

Eh My expansion tank is cracked and im getting air in the cooling sys, its causing the car to get a bit warm when i rape on it.
E36 cooling issues? No way lol. Ian let’s get this shizz fixed and mess some parking lots.
