does anyone know how to unlock a blackberry? i might buy a 8800 off of ebay for pretty cheap but it would need to be unlocked for tmobile. can anyone help me out? thanks!
What carrier was it under before? You basicly need to call that companies international department.
And I really hope its not Verizon or Sprint becuase your SOL if its a CDMA phone

If its AT&T You just call the international department.
ATT has a policy to not unlock phones anymore last time I checked.
The only way to do it was to pay like 100 bucks and send it into some bongo wireless dealer. Or you can get your imei code and email it if you can find a place and they will send you back your unlocked code.
^ I called to verify that and your right. If you buy it off Ebay and its ATT and not unlocked the original owner if the phone was ever activated, must unlock it.
If it wasnt activated, They will unlock it.
