X2, I had to stop watching about 3min in.

My Japanese isn’t good anymore, but When they cut to the first time the hood is opened, the driver says “Holy shit, they really put a V12 in this car? I can’t beleive it”

then he says it again when he’s about to pull onto the track, and I think he said it again towards the 4 minute mark.

The driver looked scared to push the car. I don’t blame him, Tskuba doesn’t have much room to stretch the legs on that car. I’d be scared too. They should have taken that thing to Motegi or Fuji.

I’m assuming they actually married two I6s into a V12 configuration?

No, Toyota makes an FR car called the Century that is a true V12 in Japan. Kinda like a Maybech type car. That’s what they used for the engine I think…

Now thats impressive, but with 1000hp it only runs 12’s? Doesn’t the Z06 run 10.9’s with just slicks?

Holy shit! If you type “V12 Supra” in google, this is what you get!

Top Secret’s cars are gilded always and consistently on the good side of ridiculous. They specialize in producing street cars that take to the tunnels and bridges around Japan at triple digit speeds that begin with a 2, and have a history of doing zany things with Supras. A few years ago they shoehorned in a Skyline GTR engine. This year, they installed the only production V-12 made in Nippon, the “280” horsepower 5.0-liter 1GZ-FE installed in the Toyota Century, an understated, retro-cool Japan-only sedan sold to those who are driven rather than drive. At $97K a pop, Toyota doesn’t sell many Centuries.

Top Secret bolted HKS 2540 turbos to each bank of six cylinders; the resulting antics produce a claimed 800 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Top Secret installed its own Super Dampers, body kit, and exhaust system, as well as giant Volk wheels and eight-piston calipers.

Slick Rick was right!

Toyota Century. I can totally see someone named Boss Takiyama being driven around in that. JDM B/A

Ahh, I only watched the first minute, I know nothing about poopras and thought that was a similar engine code to the normal one. I am le dumb.

Not uncommon to do that type of thing though, happens more often with MC engines.
