doesnt look bad for the price. pixel pitch is a little large… but thats not a really big deal.

Viewsonic is the suck. I would highly reccomend against them, we have three 27" and three 17" at work that we got through some deal one of the sales guys hooked up. THEY LOOK LIKE SHIT. Even with 1080i. They don’t sync very well when using a transcoder, or sometimes they just don’t sync at all, especially if you any type of non-standard interlaced video. S-video they seem to be ok for tho.
I have a Sencore VP401 that can also verify the suck.
However, if you looking at it because of price then do it. It is a very cheap way obtain an HD LCD.
Edit: but that is for the computer so it might be ok. I’m talking about their TVs, sorry.
im using a Viewsonic at home its a CRT and i love it
and im using a Viewsonic VE710B LCD at work and love it
the 19" viewsonic CRT i have at home still works perfectly… and its mad old. I’d love to just get a panel and be done, but with nothing wrong with what i got, makes it hard to justify
well my problem is, its too dark, no matter what setting i fuck with, so with the amount of pictures i fuck with, its hard, like when i look at my photos on a LCD, i notice shit, that i didnt on my CRT
