^ Carfax is not the end all know all of car accidents. I’ve seen cases where I know for a fact a car was in a pretty serious accident but the carfax came up clean.
Chances are asking people who know the history of the car > carfax.
OKAY I RETRACT MY STATEMENT THAT THE OP SHOULD MAKE USE OF THE FREE SERVICE THAT IS AVAILABLE TO HIM. OBVIOUSLY IT IS GOING TO BE WORTHLESS TO HIM, AND NOT EVEN WORTH THE 18 SECONDS REQUIRED TO PM THE VIN TO A MEMBER HERE. I MEAN, IF YOU’RE CURIOUS ABOUT THE ACCIDENT HISTORY, WHY WOULD YOU WANT A FREE CARFAX REPORT?

Anyways, hot dog way was the plan. I remember that from when I first got sucked into this nonsense. (Fuck you karu! :P). And the fits-a-dollar-bill-the-long-way deep dish wheels.
Then he disappeared from the board, and when he came back like 2 years later I had a much better appreciation for his cynicism. 
carfax was perfectly clean on the car and it in no way what so ever looks like it was cut in half. i basically was just questioning the rumors that were on the site. Jack has contacted me and i got the run down on the cars history. and i got a great deal on the car and a perfect platform for what i intend to do with the car.
I do remember.
