the vette may be faster and handle better, but the viper is more “exclusive” and therefore better than the vette. every person over the age of 50 has a vette, how many vipers do you see running around? I would much rather be seen in a viper over a vette, even if I lose in a race. there is more to a car than just straight performance numbers. imo
that might be true, except! I think the C6-Z06 will be an exclusive car… with an MSRP starting at $75,000.
But if you really want American exclusivity, then, theres always the GT.

The Z06 hasn’t been tested yet… so that’s hard to say. But the #s I see for the GT aren’t so impressive (well for $140k)… not to mention all owners have been instructed to stop driving them.

Also I doubt the C6 Z06 will “start” at $75k. There is nothing even close to official pricing out yet but it looks like low 60s will be the start w/ very few options anyway. Still a lot of $ though, but it should come in under both Vipers.

ive read about 65000 as the start price for the Z, all the way up to 75000. its not released yet, so anyone claiming they KNOW, is full of shit.
