I am completely out of my element when it comes to VW so ill outsource the question to you German Fanboys :tong jk –

My buddy has a MKIV Jetta 1.8t and wants to get a “badgeless?” grill. I told him the badgeless honeycomb mesh ones (with the flag in the corner) were sick and that he should get one.

.: What grill is that with the flag, and just black mesh (and where can I find it)
.: What other grills would look good (Platinum Grey,tinted) and where do they sell them?
.: Is there a “EDM GLI” grill thats badgeless with the flag?

Keep in mind…Ive searched a ton on google and haven’t had much luck.

***ALSO : He wants to ditch the huge antennae on the roof. What is a good “shorty/s2k” style to get without compromising reception?

If you get the no badge grill, you need to either do work to your hood, or get a new hood, or else it looks half assed IMO.

that grill is quite ugly especially with the hood notch filler, hed be better just buying a badgless 2 or 3 bar. and i have an S2000 antenna they dont fit on Mk4 bases nearly as well as they do on Evos our base is smaller… id suggest the Freedom Design antenna the length is adjustable and it actually gets good reception. but if he wants an S2000 one ill give him it for 15 bucks, i paid 30 from the dealer for it. only had it on my car a few weeks.

tell him to check out www.TMTUNING.com or www.ECSTUNING.com and be careful, you can spend alot of money there.

I got mine at waterfest. Mine basically is the OEM look, but no rings. You buddy could come out and look for em there. They sell a lot of stuff like that there and its usually discounted(compared to stores or sites)
