Really brings bad memories of the beating I put on my first car, a 1985 Toyota Tercel. Growing up on the NY/Quebec border I used to take the car on the snowmobile trails on the St. Regis river all the time. One of those adventures ended when the trail went from about 3 cars wide to 1 snowmobile wide, a good 1/4 mile from the nearest road. My “navigator” had just said, “oh yeah, this trail will get us back to the road” too. Luckily that friend knew a guy with a backhoe and for $20 he came and pulled me out. :lol:

Ha… hey, this was back in 93, so the 85 Tercel was… well… still a POS. But it was mine and my first car so I still loved it. Heh.
